Girlington Muslim Welfare Association:

As part of Islamophobia Awareness Month (#IAM2018), the key theme this year is to highlight the positive contributions of Muslims to their towns and cities. Bradford boasts some amazing individuals and organisations that have contributed and added much value to the city. For too long, Bradford has had too much bad press, and it's time we highlight the good that is happening and coming from Bradford. From politics to arts, business to health - Muslims have been contributing in all sectors for well over half a century, and as the population steadily rises it's crucial to realise the potential our young Muslim population of Bradford will fulfil for the benefit of the city. Please join us at 5pm, 29th November at the Norcroft Conference Centre (Bradford University) to observe some highlights of these contributions, for networking and to bringing you together!
